Garden Mushroom House

Spend your Sunday morning in the studio hand-building your very own garden mushroom house! This project is made of two separate pieces- a pinch pot and a tower base so it can be a stand-alone decorative piece, or can serve as a luminary.

Your piece will begin as a pre-rolled slab of clay and you'll be guided through cutting it into the perfect shape with little details like windows and a door. You'll be able to use excess clay to shape additional pieces and details like bricks or trim. You'll learn the basic techniques of handbuilding including texture, slipping and scoring, and more! This project is designed to be a one-day project so after building you'll move right into painting with our large selecting of Mayco Stroke and Coat glazes.
