Calling all coffee lovers!! Join us in the studio Friday, September 25th to make your very own to-go coffee mug! Instructed by the incredibly talented Emy of Earth to Emylia Ceramics, you’ll take a slab of clay and transform it into your new favorite coffee mug. This mug works well for hot coffee on the go but with the addition of a straw, also works perfectly for iced coffee. This project is designed for beginners to intermediate hand-builders. All needed tools and materials are included in this workshop, as well as all firing required to make your piece functional! You’ll learn the fundamentals of clay, hand-building, slipping, and scoring to bring your cup to life.
