Pot + Plant Handbuilding Workshop

Join us in the warehouse Friday evening to hand build your very own plant pot! This workshop is designed for beginner hand builders- as a template will be provided to make a pot the perfect size for Gift Mill Run’s succulents. You’ll be guided through all of the steps needed to turn your slab of clay into a pot, including rolling, smoothing, slipping and scoring. You’ll explore texture and design with different tools and methods to create a dynamic piece. Once you’re done assembling we’ll do all of the finishing work- we’ll fire it and dip it into the glaze of your choice before its final firing. Once it’s ready to pick up, you’ll be able to stop by Gift Mill Run and bring it to life by filling it with a plant and one of their signature plant signs. Included in the price of the workshop…
