Winter Character Luminary - Handbuilding Workshop

A fun holiday project for beginner to intermediate hand-builders! You’ll be provided all the tools you need for this holiday character luminary, including clay and glaze. You’ll start with a pre-rolled slab for you to roll into a cylindrical shape and your instructor, Sam will walk you through the steps to turn the cylinder into a luminary! The snowman design is perfect for true beginners and the reindeer is suited well for somebody with slightly more experience. You’ll learn how to slip and score to attach details like noses and how to cut and smooth the holes where your light will shine through.  Once the workshop has concluded and your piece is dried, it will be loaded in the kiln and we’ll reach out when it’s ready to be picked up!
